Virtual Retros – Designing Collaboration

Is your collaboration currently taking place online? Virtual collaboration requires practice and coordination. Our solution is as simple as it is effective. Regular virtual feedback sessions and reflections: "What went well?" "What didn't go well?" "What next steps are required?"

Topics can include project activities, teamwork or target review meetings. We determine the subject of the retrospective according to your individual needs.

In a virtual workshop we work out...

Virtual Communication – Keep it short & simple

Summing up statements and getting to the point is not necessarily the strength of your team? Endlessly long speeches in meetings are tedious and not worthwhile. And in the virtual meeting, do you notice the other participants checking mails or the next day’s presentation at the same time?

Virtually, attention spans are shorter because potential distractions are much higher. Therefore we would like to work with you on a technique to keep attention in meetings as long as possible.

In a virtual workshop we will work out...

  • Methods that easily put information in a nutshell
  • Methods to maintain the interest of colleagues
  • The relationship between trust and complexity
  • Building proximity and trust, through the reduced complexity
  • The pyramid principle

Target Group: People who want to learn how to formulate information compactly and precisely. People who want to maintain the interest of listeners for a long time.

Participants: Max. 8 People.

Duration: 3 h

Alternative formats available on request.

Clarification of Roles – How do our roles change?

Each member of a team assumes certain roles within the team. In addition to the professional role, each colleague also has a character-related role. For example a role that questions everything or one that constantly comes up with great ideas. By identifying and using the specific role characteristics, effectiveness and goal-oriented action are created.

In virtual collaboration as well as in home office, roles may change or not be fully executed. Together with you, we look at who holds which role in the team and how the roles in the team change through virtuality. The aim is to use the potential of individual employees through clarity and structure so that their team can work together effectively.

In a virtual workshop we will work out...

Feedback within the Team online

Feedback is also relevant in virtual space. Due to the lack of presence while teleworking, feedback takes on a different significance: Only through feedback can we create a constructive and appreciative dialogue among ourselves. If we do not do this, we create demotivation, frustration and anger in the team.

Therefore we would like to practice feedback in virtual space with you. Everything revolves around maintaining constructive communication.

In a virtual workshop we will work out...

  • Methods of constructive communication
  • Challenges in virtual space
